In addition to Savonlinja Oy, information in the register is also used by other companies that are part of the Savonlinja marketing entity (Autolinjat Oy, Linja-Karjala Oy, Etelä-Suomen Linjaliikenne Oy ja SL-Autoyhtymä Oy).

4. Reason for processing personal data/ intended use of register
The purpose of the register is to collect information from the Savonlinja online store about those who complete purchases without registering and about those customers registered with the online store. In addition, the register also collects information relating to persons participating in the various competitions in order to perform the draw.
Information about users of the online store and persons involved in the competition are also used for marketing of Savonlinja in accordance with the consent provided separately by said persons. After the draw the data of those persons who do not provide consent for use of their data for marketing purposes are removed from the register.

Those who purchases a ticket from the online store without registering or registered users of the online store or participants in a draw are entitled to review the data held about them and have the right to demand the correction of inaccurate information. Requests concerning this matter should be directed to the contact person for the register.

8. Principles for protection of the register
The register holder's information system and files are protected by means of technological protection measures normally used by businesses. Access to the register requires a personal user name and password, which are only granted to the register holder employees for whom said right of access is associated with their position and duties. The register holder’s premises are protected by access control.
